Project Description:
*Phase #1: Construction of bulb-outs (curb extensions) at the intersection of West Market Street and Broad Street, East Market Street (SR1014) and King Street, and Market Street (SR1014) and Lancaster Street (SR1003). Enhanced crosswalks will be constructed, to increase visibility of crosswalks and pedestrians. Stormwater conveyance will need to be constructed as part of this project.
Project start date is scheduled for spring 2024.
*Additional Phases will include Rapid Flashing Beacon Crosswalk Lights as well as several beautification projects as part of the overall Market Street enhancement plan.
