Memorial Day Parade

Marching right on into Jonestown, is our annual Memorial Day Parade!!!

Monday, May 29, 2023 * beginning at 9:00 AM

*The Parade will be forming at the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church parking lot (600 Shepherd Street) and will end at Zion Evangelical Cemetery (N. King Street, Jonestown). Parade will be followed by memorial service and speaker.

Well now you can !

Jonestown is hosting a “MEET PHIL” night, where you can come and get your questions answered, learn a thing or two
about our towns history and hear some stories from the past.

We will have a panel of distinguished guests, featuring Phil Mohn as our guest of honor.

So come prepared with your list of questions and enjoy an evening taking a walk down memory lane.
Everyone is welcome.

Event will be held June 8th, 2023, starting at 7pm

at Jonestown Borough Hall 295 S Mill Street Jonestown.

Matthew’s Public Library

Event Series: Children’s Story Hour

Come one, come all to Children’s Story Hour! The first and fifth Wednesdays of each month at 10 a.m. Polka Dot City, the library’s own professional puppet theater, presents a puppet show. After the show children will enjoy making a craft to take home with them.
The second, third, and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 10 a.m. volunteer story tellers share stories with the children followed by a craft for toddlers and preschoolers.
The Children’s Story Hour runs all year long, even during the summers.

Children will enjoy stories, finger plays, crafts, and poems. Everyone is welcome, and there is no registration required.
